Dr. Genie Markwell, CCWP is a Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practitioner who serves both Des Moines and the surrounding areas in WA . Dr. Genie is also Certified in Nurtition and CrossFit training and can create customized health & wellness programs involving diet and exercise for those outside of her area as well.

Dr. Allison Scholes is a recent graduate of Western States University and joined the team at Pier View Chiropractic as an Associate doctor.  Dr. Allison will be assisting Dr. Genie with patient care, office & community events while building her own practice adopting the philosophy and mission of Pier View Chiropractic. 

Dr. Genie Markwell, CCWP  and Dr. Allison Scholes both seek to improve their patients' health and wellness in all areas of their lives.  Dr. Genie  and Dr. Allison like to treat the "whole person" in their work as chiropractors, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, which usually arise from imbalances in the spinal column.  Under Dr. Genie's supervision and care, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives.
